My name is Sam, I am 23 years old. I recently moved to Colorado to join the cannabis movement after residing in Texas for the entirety of my life. I met my husband in Texas where he was a State Trooper, we started our research on Cannabis and it's medicinal benefits after my husband suffered a major stroke due to migraines from being in the Army. It was when we met, our eyes opened to the quality of life we currently were living as individuals and the people who surrounded us. We picked up and moved to Colorado with our blended, 5 child household, we left my job and his career with the state not knowing what to expect. A lot of people said our choice was irresponsible and irrational, believe it or not it changed our life for the greater good. Although at the time it was scary, as a teen mother I was extremely hesitant to change, but Cannabis saved my husband's life with PTSD and recovering from the massive stroke he had last year while in Law Enforcement. As a mother, wife, cannabis activist, and law enforcement supporter life has been everything but boring.
